It Ends with Us

Colleen Hoover

It Ends with Us was not the book I expected it to be, and that is exactly why it left such a strong impression on me. I went into it thinking I was picking up a romance novel, but it turned out to be a much deeper and more emotional story.

Lily was a character I connected with from the beginning. Watching her navigate relationships, her career, and difficult decisions made her feel incredibly real. I also enjoyed the letters she wrote to Ellen DeGeneres throughout the book because they gave extra insight into her personality and made the story feel more personal.

What stood out most was how the book handled difficult topics with sensitivity and honesty. It showed that situations are often more complicated than they appear and encouraged readers to look beyond simple judgements. There were several moments that made me stop and think long after I had put the book down.

Colleen Hoover’s writing style is easy to read but still manages to deliver a strong emotional impact. I found myself completely invested in the characters and wanting to know how their stories would end.

Overall, It Ends with Us is one of those books that stays with you after the final chapter. It is emotional, thought-provoking, and powerful, and I can understand why so many readers continue to recommend it.
